So as you probably know, I’ve managed to avoid “real jobs” for a long time. I did background work and stand-in work in L.A., and painted houses for a time. Then I sold things on eBay… what else did I do? More background work. And then I started fumbling around online because what on earth could be better than being able to work any time, anywhere? I mean other than acting, of course. But nothing! So my main form of income became Adsense. A few years ago I got involved in some affiliate programs. Some flopped, but one was a straggler. I kept my rep page active because I still got the occasional check. I knew it worked. I got customers through Adwords, and because of the commissions and autoships, I got paid even when I stopped promoting. Downside is, I am spending more on the monthly fee than I make. The upside is… that was with very little work! So I figure if I put in a little more work, I can remedy this situation and turn this into another basket of eggs. You know what I mean, right? Don’t put all your eggs….
Anyway.
I thought I’d share it with you, in case:
1. You’re looking for a way to earn income from home/anywhere.
2. You have pets and want to feed them something healthy.

Like I said, I’ve been really lazy with it so I can’t tell you what the potential really is, but I do know that it sells, and I have actually made money with it. There’s a $10/month fee, but I think with enough work you can easily make more than that. I am pretty sure there are people out there who make their living with it. I personally don’t plan to, but I do intend to give it a little more of the attention it deserves and find out what it’s potential is as one of my baskets of eggs. 🙂

OK ! Adsense…Adwords….I’m intrigued, interested, but must admit don’t understand it. I did some further reading online just now, but it’s not sinking in very well. Am I a little thick or what ?
Anyway, let’s take your YouTube site, ‘kendalismyname’ for instance. Those 30-60 sec ads (that you can click off after 5 sec, if you wish) that periodically come on before we can view your video…do you get a commission for allowing those on your site? There is usually an ad in the upper right corner as well. I normally click them off as soon as I am allowed, but if I watched the whole thing, would you get a bigger % commission?
As for ‘Life’s Abundance’, I understand that you are a rep. But I don’t understand how the random viewer of your videos would ever know that.
It wasn’t until Apr of this year that I found your ‘dreamer of the day’ blog (which I really enjoy, BTW) .and now that you have mentioned it in your blog, I see the Life’s Abundance’ tab at the top.
I guess what I’m saying is that it’s a wee bit difficult to find unless one is looking closely. Do you know, or are you advised, when someone clicks on the tab, or is it only when they purchase something?
I may be showing my complete internet ignorance here, but I interested in learning.
As for me purchasing the pet food products, I don’t think I can….living in Canada….right?
We have 2 cats; a 16 yr old siamese (Jasmine), and a large 6 yr old calico (Polly). I am interested in their health, andas you say, the prices aren’t too bad for a quality product.

Maybe I’ll make a post about Adsense and Adwords. I have another site that I make money from, it’s boring and has nothing to do with anything I’m passionate about, but I do have Adsense activated on you YouTube channel. I actually have two channels as an experiment. With the one you’re talking about, I make about $10 a month. I’m still not exactly clear about WHEN I get paid and when I don’t but from what I think I know, I get paid if the first ad is watched all the way through, or when a smaller ad is clicked on. There’s an ad in the upper right hand corner? I didn’t know about that one. Could you take a screencap or something? I’ve just never seen that on anyone’s videos, I don’t think.
And that Life’s Abundance tab, darn it wordpress… I thought I made it clear I didn’t want it in the navigation. I’m going to fix that. There’s a link to it in the “Support Me” tab. I’m still figuring out the best way to do this.
And I just double checked, hoping they’d extended their shipping area (come on, Canada is on the same land mass!) but no… it’s just the US. 🙁 Maybe if you sent them an email about it, and they got enough Canadians interested….?
I’m trying to figure out how to expand my audience too! I’m looking for other related blogs to get involved in, so I can share my link, or write about articles they’ve written. Maybe I need to share it more on my YouTube channel too. I just went to fiverr.com and gambled $5 on someone to promote it a bit. This is all still new to me, too! Thanks for wanting to help!
